"So God had a lot of Emmy nominations this year, but then again his Son had that Hit movie this summer" (Garry Shandling)

Ok I admit it I've been a little lax about writing but as I was telling JD yesterday I really have nothing... well That's not true there's alwayas something right?

I love the South. Everyone is so nice and friendly, the weather is great, if you omit the hurricanes, and everything is dirt cheap. As a matter of fact I was just in NYC last week and nobody smiles anymore everybody is sad looking and looks at you suspiciously. Example: there was a beautiful girl walking up 9th avenue and I smiled at her she accelerated her pace as if I was some weirdo...
Don't get me wrong, NYC is a great city but I wouldn't want to live there anymore unless I had a ton of money.

I've been spending the Summer watching the Olympics and Reality Television and as most of you know I've been working hard or hardly working. The company I work for is something short of a cult and I'm trying to move on and maybe get a better position but it's not that easy. Only time will tell....

Movies to watch: American Splendor (the true story of a man catapulted into stardomn via a sad comic)
City of God (also true story about the real slums in Rio De Janeiro in the seventies)
Music to listen to: the new Beastie Boys, that Reason song by Hoobastank (it gets under your skin) and Renee Olstead's self titled debut ( a 15 year old with the jazz verve of a young Ella).

Also today marks the day of the release of the Star Wars DVD box set and guess who's going to Best Buy?

until the next time ... which could be tomorrow
