All I need to make a comedy is a park, a policeman and a pretty girl. Charlie Chaplin

and now for my quasi celebrity interaction of the day....

You have to know I am reading a book about "Saturday Night Live" as told by the writers, actors and guests and it's pretty good.. it covers over 25 years of the show and it's pretty interesting to see how the show has been created and keeps running after all these years...anywho.... I'm riding the bus to go to work today ( I live ten minutes away but I was feeling lazy) and I'm reading my book when a young girl about 15 or 16 years old asks me what the book is about and I tell her so she asks me if Rob Schneider was in it and I say sure he is and she says: "'cause that's my dad"... go figure

First of all you've got to have talent. And then you've got to marry her like I did.
For thirty years my act consisted of one joke...and then she died. George Burns

I couldn't decide which quote I wanted to use so I put both. I was thinking about George and Gracie a lot yesterday.. I went to see this play where Frank Gorshin takes you through the life of George Burns by impersonating him and concentrating on the two loves of his life performing and Gracie Allen... They guy lived a great life through Vaudeville all the way into the movies culminating with an academy award and three "oh God!" movies. Well he's been featured on every possible entertainement medium and was even booked in Vega$ for his 100th birthday... what a life... and what a couple.......
