Irrigation of the land with seawater desalinated by fusion power is ancient. It's called 'rain'. Michael McClary

It's one of those days when you don't want to get out of bed and just pick up the remote control and start surfing... needless to say you have to get up and go to work... aaah the dilemmas of life

Who is JadedJD?

I had been asking myself that question for sometime... I finally found out... JD is a friend by marriage as I met him at the wedding of his uncle a few years ago and we kinda hit it off right away... I was going to start a contest among my few readers to see if they knew who he/she was and now I know so no contest or prizes for you come back next year! Anyway JD and I like to party like Rockstars so it all goes back to the luxury of things... i guess .. I also think I'm rambling
The imaginary friends I had as a kid dropped me because their friends thought I didn't exist. Aaron Machado

I am one of those people who makes friends with everyone... At bus stops, supermarkets, in bars i strike up a conversation with anybody... many in this day and age think people like me are freaks (I know some of you think of me as a freak anyway.. right Roger?)

Now there's a Friend with capital F my buddy Roger. He's the one who kept dangling the Rolling Stones Ticket/carrot in front of my face but I don't hold it against him ... there's nothing I wouldn't do for him (within Reason) and I'm sure that he'd do the same... A man with a Golden Heart and a fellow Mets fan .. now these are the people that are hard to come by.... but if you have even only one ion your life consider yourself verrry lucky.... I however know that Roger has an ulterior motive... he really doesn't like me... he wants to spend time with my wife!!! As does another friend down in North Carolina who is more interested in my wife than me... anyway .. I gotta get back to work.... lateroo
Give me the luxuries of life and I will willingly do without the necessities. Frank Lloyd Wright

Oh how true this quote is ... what is our fascination with what we don't have? do you ever find yourselves watching a red carpet affair and feeling left out? Why is the grass greener on the other side? what is it that makes us such anhappy campers?

Someone please answer me!!!

Everybody lies, but it doesn't matter because nobody listens. Nick Diamos

Ok the previous post was not necessarily true ... it was cute though in an uplifting sort of way... I like to think of myself as a dreamer and quote a great french movie by the name of Amelie Dreamers have it hard....
That six year old boy had a dream and nothing could stop him from pursuing it. I wonder, if he exists or existed, where would he be at 30 ? Wopuld he be disillusioned and cynical or would he try to keep his dreams alive by photographing footprints and creating stories about the owners of said footprints?.....

Or... is there a little of that six year old boy in all of us longing to come out?

Am I getting too philosophical?
have car.... will travel

A six year old boy in Paris waited for his parents to go to sleep, jumped in his pedal car and pedaled away... he was found on a German autobahn near Munich. Asked why he would do such a thing he answered " I wanted to see the stars".

The Chicken is not an intelligent animal, you can see it by the way it stares at people. Renato Pozzetto

While the country is on the brink of another useless war I ask myself... I say "self, what is the government trying to hide by picking fights with other schools?"
Just a question my paranoid persona was thinking about ... meanwhile I wonder how many people actually watched teh speech President Bush gave last night .. I sure didn't I'm reading about it now... anyway enough about politics let's talk about something else .. oh yeah I know ... well no I don't .. any suggestions? I really don't want to pick on the poor Yankee fans who are sitting at home watching the rest of the baseball playoffs so that's out.... anyway something will come up I'm sure... lateroo

Eternity is a mere moment, just long enough for a joke. Hermann Hesse

Ok I lied, no strippers no buttons... but hey I'm allowed to joke right? anyway I'd like to start a discussion topic today... see how many people respond... so here goes... when does a joke go to far? what are the boundaries that limit us to make jokes on certain issues and not on others and who stated teh parameters?

I was thinking about a new reality show where the innocent victim gets kidnapped and forced to join a fictitious army to conquer the opposing team... would that be taking it too far? is it like MTV's Jackass faking Brad Pitt's kidnapping? I await your answers eagerly....
