Things I hate

Ignorance
People hogging the sidewalks
Tardiness
Cold Weather
Absolutely Fabulous
Writing a beautiful post on this blog only to see it get lost in the meanders of the superhighway by an accidental click of the mouse

It happened again

New Reader alert!

while i just found out that I only get about 3 or 4 readers per day I just told my friend Guinness to start reading and commenting. He's from Italy and he's one of my best friends... our grand parents once came back from a trip to Spain in a converted train car... they sawed off the top and made it convertible.... warm round of applause and welcome!!!

We in the industry know that behind every successful screenwriter stands a woman. And behind her stands his wife. Groucho Marx

...or how I managed to visit three theatres in three days

I couldn't find a quote to summarize the weekend so I did the next best thing which is find a Groucho quote.. they always work ... anyway, Friday night I finally went to see Ben Folds Live... Duncan sheik opened and I could've missed the whole set because he was just wailing away and ruining my eardrums... but Ben ooooh Ben was amazing especially when he covered George Michael's Careless whisper as a joke or when he brought out Joe Jackson to do a couple of songs with him wow that was awesome... and that was also theatre number one.
Saturday I finally got around to see the Two Towers and even though it was a good flick, it was loooooong very long but still interesting and visually incredible.. that was thetre number two.
for Theatre number three I have to say I was never big on Opera but I wanted to see Baz Luhrmann's La Boheme; A) because even though opera is not my thing Puccini Rocks and B) because i knew it was going to be visually incredible and interesting... which it was and extremely well acted at that too. It was set in the 1950's instead of teh end of the 19th century which was interesting and if the translations were less hokey it would have been perfect .. but it was still good!
