well where should I start .... some of you know I lived in Australia for a while ... some of you don't while there in my early early years I hooked up with my friend Gilli she was a year older than me and we used to play in the playpen together or run around the pool... we were 3 years old you dirty minds nothing more than that! well it turns out Gilli is now living in Los Angeles and is an accomplished Indipendent musician. Well she is in NYC on tour and I was able to drag a couple of friends to see her perform. Even though it was just a few of us we were able to raise the roof a little and make the show enjoyable. She's playing a few more dates in the city one on Long Island, one in New Jersey and one in Syracuse before going to Philly and Boston... if any of my few readers are in those areas go see her she will blow your mind!
On sunday we all went to see Jimmy Cliff in concert I only paid 2 bux to get in which was great and it was a real Reggae night... this kicked off my music week a bit early as I am going to see Joe Jackson on Tuesday with the notorious Jeff (see the first week archives)
hopefully he wont get me drunk for once .... til then peeps!
