It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Fred Rogers

I did not grow up in this country as you all know, however, I have been lucky enough to see a couple of episodes of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. I know that all of you well balanced readers of this blog remember him fondly and I just wanted to mention him since he passed this morning after a short illness. So good bye Mr. Rogers I'll always be your Neighbor.
There's no such thing as a free lunch....unless someone else pays. overheard in a bar

Free movies, however, do exist... I went to one last night. It was called "Poolhall Junkies" and it was excellent... fast paced, witty, brilliantly written and acted. It all takes place around... yep you guessed it poolhall junkies and hustlers and I strongly suggest anyone to see it even if you're not interested in the game of pool. I'm telling you this guy Mars Callahan who wrote it, directed it and acted in it is going to go places. It starts Friday at a theatre near you so once again if you like good fast paced witty dialogue go see it.

Disbelief in magic can force a poor soul into believing in government and business. Tom Robbins

A while ago I got a cable modem.... I swear by it, I live by it, I think it's the best thing that ever happened to my computer... I proceeded to cancel my Netzero Account and was done with it enjoying all the perks of broadband internet. Today my wife calls me and tells me Netzero has been charging me for the past 4 months for a service I had cancelled back in October. So I call them and they have no record of my cancelling the account... so they made away with an extra 40 dollars oh well I'm just annoyed that they had told me I wouldn't be satisfied with my new broadband arrangement and they probably didn't go ahead and cancel it .. bad business brings bad news... oh I'm annoyed allright.
You can only be young once. But you can always be immature. Dave Barry

Petty discussions drive me nuts! I hate it when I'm trying to do a job and everything I do gets questioned especially by someone who lacks experience.... well enough ranting
I'm sorry I haven't written anything in a week, however, I have this story mulling in my head and so far it involves the search of two perfectly identical snowflakes..there are none you might say, but who is to say that? the same people who made the bomb?
as soon as I get a better idea on the story I'll write more about it... in the meantime for some good reading "dreamland" by Kevin Baker set in Lower Manhattan and Coney Island around 1910 or for an easier read "Catch me if you can" by Frank Abagnale Jr. you know that story
