It came and went with a thunderstorm and nothing more a little Bobby Flay a little Mario Batali some spelling bee and John ondrasik.. all that's left now is the choice of dinner but I'll find something.. It's hard but It's ok... If only....

Working on a tan can be taxing, standing for more than eight hours a day can be taxing, figuring out what you are going to do on your birthday away from your friends can be very taxing ... but all in all I love the South.
I was recently watching the new Iron Chef episodes on the food network and they now have an americanzied version of the show so the other day the commentator goes: " Chef Sakai is mixing olive oil and parsley, he is probably going to use that to flavour one of his dishes" I say No Shit Sherlock!!! why else would you do that? to waste time? to eat as a stand alone? sometimes really people have no business saying things just for the sake of saying them sorry Alton Brown but you should stick to what you do best and that is yourt own TV show. Which incidentally if you haven't seen it you should .. Good Eats also on the food network.
Tomorrow is my birthday and as always there is some added melanchloly to this particular day ... It's supposed to rain and I don't have to work... I'm not going to sit in the appartment and watch tv so I might have to go to the movies ... Mystic River?, Passion of the Chirst? or Master and Commander? you tell me... In the meantime I might just buy myself a couple of bottles of liquor and call soe cheap ho's ... who knows maybe that's a good idea... hmmmm I'll ask the pretty girl sitting behind me in the Kinko's I'm typing from... till then guys... send me your love!!!!
