So long and thanks for all the fish. Doug Adams

As I rip yet another phrase from the the hitchikers guide to the galaxy I sit in my office for the last time writing and waiting to have my long scheduled meet with the boss... the wait is long and boring but I have to have one last chat with her... we'll see how it goes... I have decided to come back on monday to clean out my desk and take my stuff just because I dont feel like doing it today so after my trip to the unemployment office I'll come in and grab my stuff.... in the meantime I'll ponder.... have a great weekend
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me. Hunter S. Thompson

Last day at work ... massive headache and a mess to clean out .. sounds like fun? we'll see ... meanwhile I finally achieved what I set out to do since I found out I was getting the boot.. get piss drunk and it worked and now I'm paying the consequences.. however my dear friend Roger was right I would blame Jeff for the headache so... Damn Jeff!

Therefore search and see if there is not some place where you may invest your humanity. Albert Schweitzer

Ok so I was going to start the week talking about my recent trip to Canada and all the quirky, funny things that happend to me and my friends.. I was also going to talk about my foray into golfing and how I liked making a fool out of myself.... I will not! I will instead talk about how bitter I am at losing a job I liked just because of "restructuring" and now I'm back in job search mode hence the opening quote.. I started looking on Monster to see what's out there I even posted my resume' I guess we'll see what happens hopefully something will come out of it ... I really dont want to go back to the restaurant business... anyway tomorrow I have a sit down talk with the Big Boss (I might link to her at a later date when I'm out of here) because she has a lot of contacts and maybe she can help ... yeah Right!

A lifetime of happiness! No man alive could bear it: it would be hell on earth. George Bernard Shaw

You know when you really like something? when you like what you do? you have that smile every morning going to work... excited to take on a new project... knowing that you can make a difference... and then? I finally know what it is like to have it all taken away from you in a New York Minute... I just lost my job ... without cause... and it sucks ass

Fame comes only when deserved, and then is as inevitable as destiny, for it is destiny. Longfellow

I have a Fan!!! not one of those annoying noisy Vornados no a real live fan who reads about me! anyway true I have found another Italian actually Milanese (like me) who blogs and enjoys reading my blog as much as I enjoy reading hers... so go check her out if you have time.. her name is RedJacaranda where the Jacaranda part reminds me of a family friend's sail boat while I was growing up anywho more about Canada later
It is impossible to imagine Goethe or Beethoven being good at billiards or golf. H. L. Mencken

....or yours truly for that matter.... however I have enjoyed myself immensely hitting the balls just a few yards away and running up to them like a fool to set up my swing again... I will write more on the subject and on the weekend which was a blast!... suffice to say I might actually start taking lessons as soon as my arm stops hurting. remind me to tell you about taking my golf partner on thrill rides up and down the hills on the course or abot the fool who always ran around the hole carrying the flag after he sunk a ball (hmm.. I wonder who that could be..) anyway I have a ton of work and if I only knew how to get links to pictures of my trip on this damn page I'd be real happy ... well for now you'll just have to believe me and read my descriptions....

Oh did I mention I want to move to Canada?... but that's a whole other post Lateroo
